I was told I'd have more pain than a normal pregnant woman - my abdomen and pelvis are full of scar tissue adhesions from six prior surgeries, and it's now all getting stretched and pulling on everything it is attached to. I've had mild/moderate cramps pretty much every day since I found out I was pregnant and thought that it wasn't as bad as I imagined and that I could handle it.
The past 48 hours, I've been in agony. It feels like I've just had surgery - If I can sit or lie perfectly still, the pain will subside. But moving, walking, sneezing, coughing, bending over, or standing up hurt so bad. I can't imagine going through the next six months like this.
I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon, but I doubt she'll be able to do anything for me, and I'm so scared that something more serious is wrong.
Does anyone else have issues with adhesions from prior surgery, c-section, or endo? Do you feel anything like this? I feel so alone in this.
Re: I need to whine - I HURT :(
I've had cramping - more frequently in the beginning, but still getting it. The doctor said it is normal from your uterus stretching. I'm sure you are fine and like you said, yours is just worse from the scar tissue.
I had a bad problem with tendonitis in my shoulder due to scar tissue from "overuse" (according to the ortho) so I know that you can get a lot of pain from that in other body parts, why not the uterus? lol
