Anyone else's LO have a favorite side?

Mine definitely hangs out on the right side of my ute. Not sure why, but I have noticed that is his preferred side. When I am on the couch there is always a bulge on my right side. My doc said its no big deal. Anyone else's LO seem to have a favorite side?

Right side for our LO as well. I always feel a foot or elbow over there.

Yes! Mine is on my right side also, he is breach so he is sitting bottom down, feet to the left and back on the right, and head right in my ribs, he has been like that for a LONG time!!

mine is always on the right. I don't think she's ever been on my left except for a foot on occassion.

Mine has been lodged on the right since he went head-down around 31-32 weeks. I think he's twisted a few times back-to-front, but that's it. The kicking is pretty much always on my far left.

My LO is laying head down on my left side and prefers I lay on my left side. If I lay on my right side he will continue to kick, punch and jab me until I switch sides. Makes it even harder to get rest at night being reduced to just one sleep position. I don't remember DD having any sort of preference.

Mine she likes the left side occasionallly I feel a hand on the right side but her toes like my left ribs

My LO is almost always on my right. Last night he switched to punching my left side, but by this morning he flipped around and has been doing quite a number on my right ribs and hip this morning. He seems to think he needs to come out through my side :S

Baby loves my right side except for last night. I was laying on my back in bed watching t.v. when all of a sudden baby started jumping around in there (I thought he/she was going to pop out of my belly button!) and moved to my left side. He/She was so much on the left, my baby bump was non-existent on my right side and huge on my left. Eventually he/she moved back to the right and my tummy evened out again.

I also think it's interesting that most of us have babies favoring the right side.

My LO is a squirmy little thing. she has been breech for the most part (transverse), but on todays's u/s she was actually head down! (Not that it matters as far as delivery, still have to get c-sect). I am feeling kicks mostly on the right now. I wonder how many more positions she will actually move into before it is all said and done!

He is almost always on my right side. Sometimes when I lay down on my left I feel him flip over to that side, but it's pretty rare.

Spinningbabies.com has really good info about baby's positioning and what is ideal for birth!!! It is much more complex than just head down and anterior!

Every one of my kids has had a preference. This one seems to love the right. In fact I look lopsided most of the time!

our LO has been curled around on the left side for ever now. His butt on the left of my belly button and his legs on the right, head down, and a small flat area where the belly button actually is... each time we go for an ultra sound he is looking rite at us and doesn't even roll over where we can get a good profile shot of him! LO just flashes his arm up infront of his face and tries his best to wave us away

Been this way for weeks now every week we get a peak at him and he doesn't budge.

My little guy loves my left side and does the same thing! He kicks and jabs until I switch back to the left. He's been doing that for quite some time, which just cracks me up. Smile

LO's back and butt are usually on the right so most kicks and pokes are on the left side of my belly. I thought that was what was going on in there, and my OB confirmed it at my last visit.

Right side here too, though he did straighten out a couple of weeks ago and spends quite a bit of time straight up and down and on the left now.

My doc said pretty much all babies have a favorite side.

Yes, she's on the right side as well. I usually notice my belly is really lopsided because she's so far over. Funny that they have their favorite spots already!!
