Would you FWP w/yeast infection?

Ew, I know. This is the question MH and I will have to discuss this week. I got diagnosed today (4 days of mid-cycle spotting is totally abnormal for me) and just downed a diflucan. I expect to ovulate Sunday or Monday. WWTTCALD?

In other news, I'll be the proud owner of preseed for the first time a couple of hours from now. Finally going to give it a try (pending FWP decision, of course).

If you just took diflucan, you should be good by Sunday or Monday.

FWP with a YI can transfer the YI to DH. Then it becomes a lovely cycle of passing the YI back and forth. But, almost a week past treatment, I'd probably FWP. Worth calling your doctor and making sure though.

Thanks to you both. I was beginning to think no one wanted to respond to a YI post. Lol. I think I will suggest we go ahead and start FWP at the end of this week. Hopefully he's ok with it.

Thanks- I asked whether I could get it back from him (generally, not specifically in this case) and she said no. I guess I thought it was one of those things where there isn't any/enough evidence to point to YIs being transferred back and forth, so they just say it doesn't occur. But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen, and you may have better information about that. It would suck though, to have that happen. Ideally I'd like to start having sex on Friday so I'm not just waiting until O day. Idk, ick to this situation.

Oh! I meant to add that I saw some regulars call for you to come back a few weeks ago. I don't honestly know your story and why you weren't here as much before, but I'm really glad you are back. You have a lot of very helpful knowledge, and just like I feel about other knowledgeable regulars who have been here longer than anyone should ever have to be, I always feel grateful to have you around when I read your responses. Not that I want anyone to be here at all, i just appreciate the knowledge you and others offer.

Hippo...you are too kind. I sometimes hate that I know so much about all this junk. I left because I got my head into a bad bad place and was taking it out on DH. I needed to step away from the baby junk for a while. Now, I'm back and being mean to idiots and goats again...ahhhhh. LOL! I'm forever grateful to the ladies who educated me, and taught me that I needed to be educated. The least I can do for them is pass along what they gave me.

As far as the pass it back and forth...maybe your doctor is smarter than my doctor. The last time I had one, DH got a pill too. I'd had several back to back so she thought he was giving it back to me. Since he took the pill, no more crotch cooties for me. ::shrug:: Maybe she's nuts, maybe she's not, but it worked LOL! Diflucan works pretty fast though, so even Friday ought to be fine.

This! Make sure you follow the directions on the meds and take/use them all. In college I had one and it got passed back and forth for 3 weeks before DH and I got rid of it. YUCK! Have fun FWP!!!!
