Diaper bag recommendations?

I suck at packing and always bring more than I need. So I have a ju ju be bff filled to the max with dd's things.

I was looking at getting the ju ju be be prepared or the ju ju be wannabe? Both are big for 2 kids, actually the wannabe is more for a beach bag, but I could use it as a diaper bag since it can be worn as backpack as well.

Is there other brands you ladies suggest?

I was late on the diaper bag train with dd and ended up with the bag the hospital gave me for a while. I need to be more prepared this time around since i'll have so much stuff, lol.

Re: Diaper bag recommendations?

  • I'm carrying a Vera Bradley baby bag for DS1, but I don't think that it's going to be big enough for 2-- I'm not exactly a light packer. I'm looking at the Petunia Picklebottom Wistful Weekender. I also really like the Abundance Boxy Backpack, it just doesn't come in the pattern I want.

  • I was just wondering this exact question!  I was thinking of maybe the Vera Bradley Weekender.  I have only seen it online so I don't know how big it is in person.  I will have to check it out this weekend.  Even though it is not specifically a "diaper bag", it does have a long handle to carry over the shoulder.  Online reviews say that it is big enough to hold several days of clothing.

  • I just picked up a skip hop delux duo- I had a kate spade for DS1 but it had short straps and it wont hold all the gear for 2...I broke down and bought the "suitcase"...LOL

  • I have a ju-ju-be Be Prepared and a PPB Wistful Weekender.  Both bags are plenty big for both kids diapers, snacks, toys, blankets, etc.  The Be Prepared is almost too big and akward to carry around, but I love it for all day trips to the zoo or Disneyland.  I use the PPB bag more because it is cuter, but is less organized because it doesn't have as many pockets.
