Just curious as to whether your 12 week guess actually came true? In our 12 week NT Scan, we saw three white dots in the shape of a triangle between the legs...not sure what this means...
I never found out that early but my friend found out that early with both of her pregnancies and the Dr./tech was correct with both. She had a boy first time around and just gave birth to her daughter 2 days ago.
Mine was correct, there was a huge buldge in between his legs. I'm going to 3 white dots would be girl, but either way, 12 weeks is soooo early. Mine was 13w5d...
12wks, 15wks and 16wks all confirm boy. I am going again tomorrow for a follow up to check my placenta to quadruple check before buying bedding fabric!
Mine was correct at 13 weeks exactly-- boy. But there was obviously boy parts there. Not sure what 3 dots is-- never heard that. My guess would be girl, but who knows!
Having a tech guess is almost more of a pain than anything-- you spend the next 6 weeks overanalyzing everything and it drives you nuts.
Ours was wrong at 12w5d. The tech said that based on the angle of the dangle theory she was 70% sure it was a girl. Well my little man is all boy. Confirmed at 15w2d and 18w3d.

Dots in any shape don't mean anything. At your NT scan, the only thing they are guessing based upon is the "angle of the dangle". Both sexes have a nub, which is a genital tubercle. They are guessing based upon the angle that it protrudes from their body in relation to the spine.

It's not safe to have your (giant) u/s picture posted, especially as your sig pick with your first and last name on it. I guess your screen name isn't much better, but with your name in combination with your location it's not very safe. Especially once you have a child, you're also making their identity available. Just in case you hadn't realized...
Perhaps, not knowing or not being given a "guess" is better than being given one because I would hate to have someone be wrong and perhaps my tech knew it was best to know have the wrath of a pregnant woman.

Re: Was your NT Scan Gender Guess Right?
Our guesses was right with both of my pregnancies.
Not sure what the triangle mans - I think 3 "lines" = girl? Not sure if that is the same thing.
