I BF BUT DS will not take a bottle of my milk that has been frozen! Up until now I have just pumped right before I left and was back by the time he was ready to eat after one bottle.
I work over the holiday season and he needs enough milk to last all day. I cannot pump that much fresh to leave him. The only way I see of doing this is doing formula for some / most of the feedings on the day I work (only one day a week).
What formula would you use?
TIA

This is flammable, but I would make my own using the Nourishing Traditions recipe. I have two friends that use this for all of their babies (using raw milk from their own cows) and their babies have thrived.
This. 100%.

I have never heard of this before. Where do I find this recipe?
RAW MILK-BASED BABY FORMULA From Weston A. Price Foundation
2 cups whole, raw milk from pasture-fed cows
1/4 cup homemade liquid whey
4 tablespoons lactose
1/4 teaspoon bifidobacterium infantis powder
2 or more tablespoons good quality raw cream, more if you are using milk from Holstein cows
1 teaspoon cod liver oil
1 teaspoon expeller-expressed sunflower oil
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons coconut oil (heat to 76? to liquify)
2 teaspoons nutritional yeast flakes
2 teaspoons gelatin
1 7/8 cups filtered water
1/4 teaspoon acerola powder
Add gelatin to water and warm until granules dissolve. Put this and all the other ingredients into a blender and mix well. Transfer to a clean glass or stainless steel container for storage.
To Serve:
Pour 6-8 ounces into a clean glass bottle, attach nipple and heat gently in a pan of simmering water. Don't over do it, just enough so it's warm to the touch, then shake well and feed.
There is also a recipe with a liver base for babies who are allergic to dairy.
Kidding. Probably Target brand.
It sounds like you might have excess lipase in your milk. You might just need to scald your milk before storing it.

What would you suggest then? Coca Cola
I think that you are probably right, but would I not have had this problem with DS1 also? He took bottles just fine.
I might scald when I start back to work and have a days worth of pumping to store. Right now I pump so infrequently it does not seem worth it.
No. DIET Coke. There is a childhood obesity epidemic. Der.
LOL!!
Some kids don't care. DS was fine with it until ~10 months, got fresh milk only for ~3 weeks and refused every other bottle from then on. Of course, if he refuses frozen milk, he might also refuse formula...DS did as well. He basically stopped drinking during the days at 10 months. Awesome.
While I wouldn't be too concerned with raw milk formula if you actually milked your own cow (I mean, pretty similar to milking yourself really), I wouldn't trust other sources unless you know them very very well. Pretty much any formula should be fine. I've heard Good Start and the organic ones taste sweeter usually so might go over better.
