If you get cold sores...

have you used Abreva during your pregnancy?  I got my BFP yesterday and of course a cold sore pops up this morning.  I recall my doctor said it was fine to use my first pregnancy but I went on Abreva's website this morning and it says there have been no tests to determine if safe during pregnancy.  Ugh.  I am not sure what to do.

    I have had a few and my RE said it was OK to use Abreva.

    My RE said it's ok to use Abreva and Valtrex (I used to get cold sores ALL THE TIME and was on a maintenance dose of Valtrex for about a year, so it's in my file.)

    I've been getting about one a month with this pregnancy. I use Abreva all the time with no concerns. It's such a small amount.
