Has Anyone Been Following the Lisa Irwin Case?

Link

The mom is now admitting that she was drunk the night the baby disappeared.  I've had a terrible feeling since the beginning of all of this that one or both of the parents are somehow involved.

What are your thoughts?

Re: Has Anyone Been Following the Lisa Irwin Case?

  • This is going to sound horrible, but I think the poor baby died and I think the parents covered it up.  Makes.Me.Sick!

ETA: I think it was probably an accident, and they got scared or something.

  • What is sad, is she was convicted in my mind from the beginning. I know that is horrible of me. But you see so many of these cases and 90% of them the parents are at fault. I really hope and pray they find her alive somewhere and the parents had nothing to do with it. But I just don't believe that will happen.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. I just keep thinking how on earth did she not notice that all the lights were turned on. I think she's too upset, and he's not upset enough every time they interview them. If she was drunk, that just makes me more upset. She had three children that she was primary caregiver for at that time and her husband was not there to help care for them. How could you be drunk  when you are supposed to be watching them??

It's also super fishy that this was the FIRST night he had ever worked the overnight shift.

  • I had suspected that the parents were involved from the beginning, as well. This new information makes my suspicions even stronger. I'm guessing it was an accident that they covered up. To me, the father actually seems more suspicious in interviews than the mother.

It is not likely but I just watched a special on a woman whose baby was in fact abducted from her home by another woman who must have miscarried and wanted to replace the baby she lost.  She even passed the baby as her own for awhile before her family caught on.  And the police didn't believe her story either!

Although this woman was home alone with her older son and baby daughter in broad daylight when her little one was abducted.  Not piss drunk...which makes me doubt this particular woman's story.  Yes I will drink after my LO's are asleep.  But I don't black out and I don't drink when I'm alone in the house with them...in my opinion it is irresponsable.

  • I live in Kansas City and  I have been following the case. I think it is awful! I have had a strange feeling the entire time the mom is involved.  The police here have said multiple times that she is not working with them through the investigation. She even failed the poly!
