Pediatrician & new moms in the Ann Arbor area?

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are native to Michigan, but have spent the last 6 years in Chicago. We are moving back to MI, found great jobs, and now have a three-month old baby girl :) I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a pediatrician in Ann Arbor area as well as seeing if there are any other new moms in Ann Arbor that are on this board. Even though I'm from MI, I've never really spent any time in Ann Arbor and don't know the area well at all!

    Welcome back to MI! I'm also around the AA area. Our pediatrician is with Primary Pediatrics, also part of IHA. We have seen all of them at some point and love them all (and the office staff is awesome as well!)

    Not a new mom yet (have 3 months to go!) but I'm in the AA area.  I work in AA and live in Canton - about 30min away.  I haven't started going yet, obviously, but have had several recommendations for the IHA pediatrics, which has a couple sites in AA.  Welcome to the area!

    Thanks so much for all the recommendations! Are there any new mom groups in AA? I belong to the Bump Club and Beyond here in Chicago and get a lot of useful stuff from it! :)

    St. Joes has a mommy & me class thats free once a month. I love the instructor for it. We like to go to Briarwood mall to the play area and I get my caffiene fix at Starbucks!

    Hello! We see Dr Youseff at IHA Primary Pediatrics and really like them. It is very far away from our house though so we are switching Pediatricians this next visit. We are going to go to Liberty Pediatrics.

    We were just like you 1 year ago. We moved back to Michigan after 6 years in Chicago too, when my daughter was 10 weeks old. It was a hard transition. I found great classes at the Lamaze center. The new moms group was awesome. We are now going to the toddler group. We are still trying to make new friends, so if you are ever interested in coffee please email me! megetheridge@gmail.com
