So- what is up with my LO waking at the same time every night? Its so weird. She STTN Saturday night, but last night, and a few before that- she was up at 3:00.
Internal alarm clock maybe? lol. This is driving me craaaaaaaazy.
I'd guess it's getting to be a habit now. If it was me and there is nothing wrong with her when she wakes (wet starving bleeding etc) I'd start letting S CIO and put himself back to sleep at this point.
Hope the cycle breaks soon.

Try waking her at 2:30 or 2:45. It's something called Pre-emptive Wakening (actually, I think that might be the wrong name). Ferber footnotes it and my pedi said something about it too. If a baby is waking at the same time every day, for some reason if you wake him up a little before they would on their own and do the same things you would usually do (feed, change, whatever) it somehow breaks the cycle. There was a point when DD was waking up at 1am and I went into her room at 12:45am and it woke her out of a deep sleep but she didn't totally wake up. She didn't wake up at that time for a while after that.
Re: Waking at 3am, on the nose.
