Hoping New Carseat does the trick!

Finally bought DD a new convertible carseat and it should be delivered this week. I love(d) her Britax Marathon, but we got her a Sunshine Kids Radian XTSL in hopes that, since it's more narrow, it gives us enough room to have 3 carseats in the back of our Chevy Equinox.

If this doesn't work I'm not sure if DH will want to try getting another Radian to replace DS1's Marathon or go directly to a minivan.

While we don't mind a minivan, we're just hoping to avoid having to buy a new car until at least after the new year!

    Hoping it works!  We bite the bullet and went straight to a mini-van... I never thought I'd say "I LOVE MY VAN!", but I really do!  Th extra space is amazing.  

    Good luck and I hope it works out as planned!  I see you C is scheduled already for 11/22:)  That's my due date!  We must be living parallel lives... :)

    I would love to go straight to the minivan, but DH just bought a new car about a month before we found out about #3. If we hadn't done that we probably would have bought a minivan instead.

    I'm annoyed my c-section is on the 22nd. I'm not due until the 29th, but the OB's office won't let me wait until the 28th, won't schedule over the weekend and Thursday and Friday are considered part of their holiday, so they won't schedule then either.

    Trying to arrange care for my 2 LOs is proving to be very difficult 2 days before Thanksgiving.

    I didn't even think about the holiday being 2 days after... this baby is sucking my brain out.  Hopefully, someone will pull through for you.  

    We have to have our C at 37 weeks so I guess not being so close to the holiday ended up working for us.  Not an ideal situation since I prefer to keep cooking this kid as long as possible but it is what it is.  Another plus is I get to find out the gender sooner rather than later!

    Regarding the C, I'm only getting someone to watch the kids the day of the surgery.  The rest of the time it will be my DH who watches them.  He is useless to me at the hospital so I rather him get a taste of what it's like to be "mom" for a few days Wink

    It will pretty much be just the day of, but I know DH will want some solo baby time while we're in the hospital so for at least a couple of hours the next day we'll need someone.

    I'm going to try to get discharged early, which would have me leaving on Thanksgiving day.
