Success after IF
Giuliana *spoiler* from the Today show
She announced that she has breast cancer. Her RE at CCRM required for her to have mammogram and that's when they found it. She still went ahead and did the retrieval. I believe she said she has surgery next week. So so sad.

I saw it and I was shocked! I really thought she would announce the IVF didn't work and they were adopting (since I've ready rumors about that). I'm so glad they required a mammogram and caught it early. Hopefully they will be able to have their baby soon.
A friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer last year at age 30. She is now 31 and will have a double mastectomy in a few weeks. Also, my sister's SIL died from breast cancer at the age of 34 leaving behind 2 small children. I really think they should start mammograms much earlier for everyone.

I saw it this morning and cried! I don't even watch their show but I know their story from posts on here and I was hoping they would announce their pregnancy. When I saw her face though I knew it was bad news, but didn't realize they would announce breast cancer! And when they flashed over to Bill... ack! the look on his face... I cried some more!
It's so heartbreaking, but they seem like a strong couple with a great attitude and I can't wait for the day they have happy news to share. I usually don't pray for celebrities, but their infertility story really hits close to home and I will keep them in my prayers.
I need to get a mammogram.

Totally agree with you on this. I saw her interview on people.com https://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20537544,00.html very heartbreaking. But I beieve their positive attitude and spirit will help them survive this too!!!

I am just about crying reading this story on people.com- I LOVE Bill and Giuliana. So scary! I really wish it would be mandatory for women to get mammograms starting at 21- or even 25- too many women are being diagnosed with breast cancer before 40, why wait to get tested- early detection can save your life.
She is a strong woman and I ain't going to lie that made me cry!
