I know there's been a lot of talk about her on here lately. I subscribe to Baby Cheapskate and they announced that there has just been a price drop. Sophie is now $16.45 on Amazon.com!

I am sitting here bumping one handed because Avery is teething and cannot hold her own teething toy in her mouth. As my hand is completely covered in drool I watched a video review showing how easy it is for the baby to hold. Dang Sophie got me. I had been holding out, and I just hit the checkout button on Amazon. Thanks for the heads up, I also joined Amazon Mom for free shipping, I hadn't done that yet, but I am glad I finally did, there are some good deals on there!
I will tell you that Sophie has saved me!! it is the ONLY teething toy that Riley can hold and put to her mouth, and actually enjoys gnawing on!!! Yes its expensive, but honestly, I think it is WELL worth it!!!!

Ahh, glad to hear this. It was an impulse buy, so I am hoping our experience is as good as yours!
I have to be honest - I have not, nor do I have any intention on buying Sophie. I agree wtih other posters that I am afraid my dog will find it and make it his own friend. I have some teething toys that we used with DD#1 and they worked just fine for her and seem to be doing the job for #2. I just know that they have been the "talk of the town" so to speak lately and wanted to share. Its kinda like the hype of the Aden and Anais blankets. To me, its not worth the $ when they grow out of it so quickly. Especially since we're done with the kiddos. Glad to share with those who appreciated it though!! You're welcome!

I said I was not going to spend the money but decided to when she began to really like gnawing on my/her fingers. I'll just have to keep it away from the dogs like I do all her other toys. They really do cut teeth for a long while so I figure Sophie will get her use
Re: PSA: Sophie on Amazon...
Indeed! Plus it's a little creepy looking! We have so many teethers and small toys that I can't justify a Sophie.
