Anyone not feel nauseous?

I am only 6 weeks along, but have not had any nausea.  I know that it is good to feel sick because it lessens your chance of miscarriage.  If I remember correctly with my first 2 sons, the nausea didn't really start till week 7ish.  Anyone else just feel tired and restless at night?  Those are my two main symptoms...

Re: Anyone not feel nauseous?

  • I'm not nauseous at all.  Not every woman will get that symptom thought.  I don't think that it lessons the chance of miscarriage.  I know plenty of women that wasn't nauseous and they gave birth just fine.

  • No nausea here (yet)...my mom said she was really sick with both of her pregnancies and that was how she knew she was pregnant but I don't have anything yet. I have on/off cramping that has eased up a bit the past week and sore boobs that are worse at night. And one night I was really tired and went to bed at 9:30. But that's about it so far.

I don't know where you got that information from, but I don't think it's correct. Also ms usually starts around wk7

  • I haven't had any nausea at all and I'm expecting twins. I'm really shocked.

Also, I did some research on the whole theory that morning sickness/nausea lessens your chances of miscarriage, and from what I found this has really not been proven. Only 75-80% of pregnant women experience nausea while pregnant.

  • I'm not, but I do have constant heartburn starting at around 2 everyday. My obgyn said some women get heartburn in place of m/s.

  • No nausea yet for me. I've read before that only 50% of women actually get m/s.  (Sorry -can't give you a source on that one) If you have other symptoms, I wouldn't fret.  I get random moments where I feel exhausted and I'm definitely restless at night - I wake up several times a night and have lots of crazy dreams every night.  Last night, I dreamt that my best friend got married and wore a black wedding dress, which isn't exactly her style!!

  • I've had a couple waves of nausea & one evening of vomiting. Otherwise I feel totally normal, a tiny bit tired. Trying not to overanalyze.

That's exactly how I feel right now. I'm nausea sometimes and have vomited once, but I'm tired like nothing else!

  • My first pregnancy, it didn't hit until 6.5-7 weeks...I don't think the nausea is or is not an indicator of miscarriage.  It's still pretty early... I'm 5 weeks, 2 days.  Other than bloated and looking 4 months pregnant, I don't feel pregnant.
  • I had it pretty early with my first, but nothing so far. We will see in a few weeks, I guess.
  • Not feeling nauseous at all, but I didn't in my firdt pregnancy either so I'm hoping to escap it again.  I've just had alot of restless nights, waking up early and not being able to get back to sleep - I just start thinking about the pregnancy and impending new babies in my life. :)
  • I haven't felt nauseous at all.  If I had been nauseous and then it went away I might be worried, but since I haven't had it at all I'm just assuming I'm in the lucky minority that doesn't have it.

  • No nausea yet here either, just one quick gagging fit.  I think it was bad for me 8-12 weeks last time, so I'm enjoying food while I can.  I am crazy tired though.  This weekend I took a 2 hour nap each day.  Like pp, I wake up early and can't get back to sleep either.  Bleh.

  • I have been lucky enough not to throw up yet but I get some queasiness here and there. Kind of like a car sick feeling but not too bad. Waiting for the fun of week 7!
  • I'm not!! :) And enjoying being able to eat pretty much anything right now!

  • I should not google things because I researched morning sickness and it said if you have it, it means you have lots of pregnancy related hormones.  Thereby, suggesting that the pregnancy is moving along.  Clearly, wrong.  I'm glad that others are not feeling it yet either though....

  • I'm not...just tired and sore boobs, with some cramping every couple of days, which is a lot like my first pregnancy, I had no m/s with that one either so I'm hoping to avoid it this time too.  Enjoy it while it lasts, I say!

  • This is my first pregnancy, and I've yet to feel nauseous or throw up.  I have noticed a heightened sense of smell though, along with some "pulling" sensations in my pelvic area (not really cramps).  Also, I feel extra tired (been taking naps when I get home from work) and I have sore nipples.  Otherwise, I feel pretty good *knock on wood*.... hope it lasts!

  • I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow..I havent experienced any nausea yet..crossing my fingers for healthy happy pregnancy without M/S!! :)
  • I don't think that's a widely accepted fact.

I've had bouts of queasiness but no vomiting. The most consistent symptom is exhaustion. It's been constant for about three weeks.
