Baby Names

Help with boy names that go well with Henry

Just found out we're expecting number 2!  We have lots of time, I know, but I have already started thinking of baby names.  We have girl names picked out from when we had DC#1...Eleanore (NN-Nora)  or Johanna (family name), but we had a boy and named him Henry.

Any ideas on boy names that sound nice with Henry, we prefer traditional, but not too popular names.

TIA

  • What about Henry and Grant?
  • My DS is a Henry and if this baby is a boy we are considering the name Charlie. I also like Benjamin and Oliver.
  • I love Eleanor (but only spelled like this)!

Henry is my current favourite boy name, and names I also like are: Julian, August, Benjamin, Callum, Desmond, Caspian, Dominic, Lachlan, Lucien, Miles, Simon, Oliver, and Sebastian

Other common nicknames for Theodore are Ted and Teddy.

    George

    Charles (Charlie)

    Oliver

  • Our DS1 is Henry and his little brother is Emmett.  We also considered Owen, Peter, Jack, Victor and Gideon.

  • Our nephew is Theodore but goes by Theo. (it really is adorable!)  Ted and Teddy are also good names, but I wouldn't do Henry and Teddy.  Seems too similar sounding to me.

Do you call Henry "Hank"?  If so, I think Hank and Theo are a perfect sibset!

  • I have a Theodore (Theo) and a Francis and if we have a 3rd boy we are considering Henry, George, or Gregory.
