Double Trouble Bath Time

I don't give DD and bath every night, but on the nights that I do, I give DS and DD both a bath at the same time. I put the baby tub in the big tub and then put DS in the other half of the big tub. It goes so much faster. I was wondering for moms who have a toddler and a baby, how do you handle bath time?

Re: Double Trouble Bath Time

  • Right now we do bath time on different days so I only have to do one child a night. I can't wait until DD is able to sit up by herself so I can wash them both at the same time.

I wish that I could alternate! DS is very active and loves to be outside and get nice and dirty. He usually needs a bath every night.

  • We do both at the same time.  We put DS in his little whale tub in the big bath tub where DD is doing her thing.  They LOVE it!
  • We do both at the same time - I take DD1&2 in the shower with me.  Before I was a parent, I would have thought that was weird, but now that I have very little time, it makes perfect sense.  It is faster/easier than separate baths.
  • Depends. Sometimes I'll put his bath tub in the big bath with DD, others I'll have her in the big bath and him on the counter in his baby bath and do it at the same time but separate. Usually I do it on different days though because I don't give DS a bath every single day but DD is most every day. Sometimes she just showers with me too. Faster.
