The bra question got me thinking . . .

This is completely random, but when did someone put the mesh underwear on me?  I know I only had a gown on during the surgery, do they do that in the OR?  I'm pretty sure when I was immobile from the waste down, I wasn't able to put anything on, but I know I remember having the hospital issued underwear and a pad put on at some point but I have no idea how or when they were put on.

    That was all done for me in the OR as they were putting me back together.

    I thought of that too. It might have been done in the OR but maybe not because I still had my catheter in until the next morning?

    Maybe I put them on after my first shower the day after. Weird how I can't remember.

     BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13. William Daryll born at 9:59am on 05/29/13. Left ovary and tube removed due to peach sized tumor found during RCS. Pathology came back benign!

    Once I had the catheter out the nurse took me to the bathroom to pee for the first time and to help clean me up. At this point I put on the mesh underwear and pad, before that they had chuck pads underneath me as they were still coming in and mushing my stomach and all that jazz.

    I put them on my patients when we clean up their bottom after surgery but once hte spinal is worn off...so they can boost hteir hips and help me get htem up..I just feed the catheter line through one of the legs

    I only had my hosptial gown on for the first 12 hours or so.  The nurse gave me the mesh panties and pads when I was able to walk to the bathroom for the first time.

    They offered to help me put on the mesh underwear later that day but I told them that I would rather wait until the next day when they removed the catheter and I'd be moving around more.

    I have no memory of anyone putting them on me. Hmmmm. . . . yeah, I guess they did appear by magic. LOL. I guess someone put them on me at some point, I feel like I did have them on when I still had the cath in, but that doesn't seem right either. Weird.

    With both of my boys they must have been put on in the OR because no one put them on me in recovery. I do remember a nurse coming in and cleaning me off with that bottle of water a few hours later and changing them but I had a pair to begin with. As soon as they took the cath out I put on my own panties and pads.
