back pain from spinal?

I've been having a lot of localized back pain where I think the spinal was inserted. Is this common?

    It's more than that and didn't start until about 3 weeks after the c/s. I guess if it doesn't get better with increased exercise I'll ask my doctor.

    I think it is normal.  Mine still hurts, but mine was put in wrong.

    I had some back pain too, but it wasn't too terrible. I was stuck atleast 6 times for my spinal. I had a large, nasty bruise for a couple weeks.

    Yeah actually mine lasted a long time, because they attempted the spinal so many times. I ended up going under general anesthesia. It does go away.

    I've had 3 spinals, 2 with cerclages and 1 from this section.  Oddly enough I had way more back pain with the cercs than the surgery.  By the time I was discharged my back didn't hurt. With one of the cerclages my back hurt for weeks.  I guess it all depends on where they put it in and how well it goes.
