I just don't understand why some people give attitudes on some of the boards. I never got an attitude here on this board and I have to attribute it to age! I come here for feedback, opinions and to give feedback/opinions but sometimes people get nasty for no reason at all! I have to admit I don't have a thick skin at all, but it bothers me when people give you an attitude for no reason. Oh well - just needed to vent! I HATE that I allow what a complete stranger says to bother me! Embarrassed

Anywho - It is nice to have a place to go and post my thoughts where everyone is respectful!  How refreshing!

    Ugh! Glad you're here and not on those other boards. Yea....I've had my share. Way back when I was on a different board and invited myself off to save from the toxic sludge being strewn all over the place. I think some people feel insecure and/or entitled and have a need to be right (thus believing their opinion is really worth anything). More power to them. Their blood pressure and stress can go up....but I refuse to take part. Happiness is bliss. And you have a right to feel heard and not judged. Hope you're feeling better about things! BIG HUGS! ;-)

    Meh.  Don't worry about those other boards.  Some can be downright awful.  Stick around here BUT if you want some type of entertainment.... Trouble in Paradise board on TN, the Baby Shower board on TB and the Ettiquette board on TK are awesome!  I never post but I absolutely lurk every once in a while.

    It makes me appreciate how wonderful and supportive this community is....I think this board and TTC 35+ are about being supportive and respecting the different ways that we live our lives.  Try to remember that no matter what someone may say about you - you are making the best choices and decisions for you and your family.

    I couldn't agree more. It really ruins the atmosphere in some boards. Some people really seem to get off on it, and as the saying goes, one bad apple can ruin the lot. Oh dear...I sound like my mom!

    I couldn't agree more.  I have lurked and posted on some of the other boards but this is my fav.  No drama.  I hate drama.  I agree that it has to do with the fact that we are mature and not so mean!!  Glad to see ya here.

    I agree...TTC 35 and this board are the most supportive boards! I usually ignore any drama on the other boards and do not usually respond to them..responding just fuels the drama.

    AMEN!!!  I stick here and lurk other places because the women are just aweful.  Some of the boards I have noticed have a HORRIBLE high school click type thing going on that if you disagree with one of the "followers" the rest of the flock jump down your throat.  We have discussed it a few times on this board about the drama on other boards.

    This board is chock full of supportive, wonderful, friendly people. We post when we have something to share or something to vent.  It isn't super active like some of the other boards but that is because we have rich, full lives and don't spend the entire day bumping about nonsense.  I LOVE this board and love all of the lovely ladies on it.  

    We are very lucky as people come and go the vibe of the board remains the same...supportive, non-clicky and a postive place to share.

    We AMA Mamas ROCK!!!  Go us!!!!
