I am trying to decide among these for Xmas presents for my 3 DDs, ages 4.5 and 3 y/o. twins. Last year my older DD got the FP IXL for Xmas and she loved it & played with it all the time. Now my younger twins play with it all the time - all 3 kids are able to play with it independently. I'm not sure if my 4.5 y/o has become bored with it or outgrown it, or if her sisters have just taken it over from her. Anyway, having just one of these learning systems in the ouse does not work. I need 3. I'm trying to decide what's best for all 3 girls at their different ages ( although they do almost all the same things). Since I already have an IXL & I know my younger ones can use it, I'm wondering if I should just get one more IXL for them. But I am concerned they may outgrow it as quickly as older DD. As between the Leappad and the Innotab, I am leaning toward Innotab (b/c of MP3 function, and APPS, etc.), but wondering if this will work for the younger ones , or if it is above them ( although the younger ones seem to be able to do most of what older DD can do, and want them to grow into it). I would like something that each of them can play with for a couple of years, not get a new learning system every year...Any input would help. TIA
Re: Leapfrog Leappad vs. Vtech Innotab vs. FP IXL?
we just got the LeapPad for DS1 for xmas... I'm just a big fan of Leapfrog products - and not so crazy about the Vtech things we have had.
