One year wedding anniversary

Ok so DH will be here for our first anniversary on December 3rd. Of couse I want to give him a present or something but I really suck with presents. So do you ladies have any ideas or just let me know what you?ve gotten your DH. TIA

    First year anniversary is traditionally paper so if you want to go that route, you could do

    Photographs/picture frames
    Books
    Tickets - sporting event? show? or maybe hotel getaway for the 2 of you?
    Love Letters
    Calendar
    Coupon Book (DIY "coupons" offering free services like a backrub, etc)

    We just had our first anniversary in March. Because of the paper theme, we "bought each other" a Nook Color.

    I got a cute photo box and put a colored heart in the box for every week of our second year of marriage. Each week, he'd pull a heart from the box and inside was something nice I'd do for him that week. Mostly they were little things, but some were bigger. Some were marked "surprise," so he'd give me the heart and I'd surprise his with something that week. It was really sweet and he LOVED it.

    For our one year I made my husband a shutterfly book with pictures of our little one and a few from our wedding.  He loves it and it was a lot of fun to make.

    You just gave me a huge lightbulb.  I want to do an "our first year" book.  A couple pages of pictures from each month.  I can't wait!!!
