Cammie just spent a good amount of time trying to shove Sophie as far in her mouth as possible-- I think it's nearly impossible to get too much in their mouth-- she really tried, but the way its shaped, you can't get much in at once.

Someone else just posted tonight about her son choking on Sophie's leg I think. She said he had it in for like 2 seconds and immediately shoved it far in his mouth and started choking.
Haha. Everyone raves about her but my husband just isn't interested in her for fear she will hurt our DS. Hmph.
Hurt him how? Break his heart if he ever loses her?
OR...he could drop her out of his stroller at target and his mama could end up calling said target frantically several times until someone found her. Then, they could drive 40 mins to said target in order to pick up sophie. she could have marks all over her from where she was run over by some floor cleaning machine, but she'd be as good as new after a boiling...
hypothetically speaking, of course. that certainly didn't happen to us with ds1.
DD was obsessed with her Sophie and we lost it at the mall getting Santa pics on a Saturday and had to wait until Wednesday for it to be delivered (they didn't have them in stores near me yet) Needless to say, we ordered a back up. Never needed it so now DS has it.
This is a pro pic I had taken of her and she had to have Sophie in the shoot. (This has the writing on it because I made it into a mousepad for DH for work)
Made me fall for her. That tricky little minx found her way to my son's heart. UGH!! Now, all I want to do is to back to BRU and get the keychain.
they also have a bath toy Sophie now!!!! I'm going to go broke!!!!
I saw that.
As for the front leg choking, my husband is going to try and heat up both feat and see if they will meld together to prevent that hazzard. wish us luck.
OMG Sazrah! Your avatar made me literally LMAO DH looked at me like I've lost my mind. hahah he agreed it was pretty funny! I happen to be a Twilight fanatic!
Re: Sophie, I haven't bitten the bullet but I just might! I got Liv the round Vulli vanilla scented ones and she wants nothing to do with them!

We never got a Sophie for Gavin but I think Hudson is going to get one from Santa. Poor kid gets hardly anything new since he's the 2nd child, he should at least get a new chew toy.
check out this gem in the sophie reviews on Amazon.
We just got this for our infant, and I couldn't help but give it a bit of a test chew, myself. Now, I obviously don't have a huge deal of experience (or, memory, rather) with teething toys, but this is good stuff. Very satisfying to bite on. I'm thinking of getting a second one for myself to use in the office to deal with stress. Much better than my kid's silicone pacifier, which I've also tried.

We must be the change we wish to see in the world.
Re: Sophie...that stupid b!tch

oh my gosh...just lol'd!! awesome!
Yes, she could mosdef break his heart. Or offer more than he can handle in his mouth at once, causing him to choke. Ah well, there will be others
I know what you mean! Brin loves his Sophie and did so immediatly.
Looks like they also have one that takes the choking hazard part out.

Meeeee too! haha I google imaged it to send to my sister on FB after I saw it.
In the words of DH, "DS loves that glorified dog toy that cost me an arm and a leg" .... Off to look for the chew keys
Thanks. I am vampire OBSESSED! You should see my house. That is one of my favorite vamp movies of all time. DH looks a lot like Ormand.
