Ellie's new shoes

We'll see what DH says when he sees them haha.  The guy employee kept showing her a few different girl options and she just kept clutching these saying "NO! Green shoes!".  He even said at one point that the other ones were pretty shoes for princesses haha - like she cares.  I wasn't surprised, she loves bright colors (her current shoes look just like this but bright neon pink), and most of the girl options were mostly white with minimal pinks and purples added.

    Haha love them! Did you go to the eastview store? We went on Friday and I was looking at a pair that was just OK, but then they said they had other ones in back. We got her brown sneakers with pink trims. I'll try to find a pic.

    What size is E now? A had grown 2 sizes (7.5) since our last trip there... oops! :-)

    Where are these from?  Love em!

    My DD comes home from preschool saying stuff like "Boy like iron man, girls like princesses", and I try not to reinforce any gender stereotypes.  Especially like playing in the mud or doing whatever.. not eerything has to be pink, puppies, princesses!

    Stride Rite. They had them in navy blue and bright red also.
