  It really varies for everyone.  With DS1 I thought that I had stopped bleeding around 10 days.  It came back as spotting a few days later and continued on and off until about 3 weeks.  With DS2, I bleed for about 7 weeks.  No clue as to why the difference, except that I was more active the 2nd time.

  I bled for a few weeks then it stopped for a couple, then came back for another week (which at first I thought was a period even though I was BF-ing, but thankfully it wasn't!)

  My bleeding stopped at 10 days, too. I thought it was over, but 5 days later it came back as spotting and I'm 1 month PP and still experiencing a little bit of bleeding. I was very active during pregnancy and even a few days after the c-section though if that makes any difference?

  I stopped bleeding the first time at about day 5. This time it was about 7 days later

  I am on week four, almost five, and still bleeding.  But, my doctor isn't concerned....I have a fibroid that I never knew about til I was pregnant but grew large in pregnancy.  Supposedly, that can lead to bleeding that you think will never end.
