How long were you in the hospital for your scheduled section?

My planned c section is at 1pm on Dec.16. I'm supposed to be there by 11.

I had my c-section on a Thursday, and they told me I had to stay 4 days (so leave on Sunday). I left Monday because we were having issues with latching. This time I really hope to leave by day 4, or 3 if possible.

Had c/s at 8am on Friday, was discharged at 8am on Monday.

i went into the hospital and had c/s on thursday was supposed to be discharged on sunday. i stayed an extra day in the hospital because i wasn't "healing" right. but my dr actually said that so I can stay while LO was in the NICU for low blood sugar. we all went home on monday!

I went in on a Thursday morning and was out on Sunday afternoon. I was told I could have stayed 1 more day if I wanted to but I wanted to go home.

96hrs was recommended, but they released me Monday afternoon and I had the boys at about 10:30pm the Thursday prior. So it was a little less than that. But about 3-4 days is standard at the hospital I delivered at.

I'm scheduled at 7:30am on Nov 29th. I have to be there at 5:30am. I'll have a 4 days 3 nights stay. I'll be going on on Dec 2nd.

The first time 5 days the second time less than 48 hours. The doctor said I could stay another day if I wanted. I felt like I would get better rest if I went home. I did.

Had my c-section on a Friday morning, was supposed to come home Tuesday, ended up coming home Wednesday. My blood pressure was still too high to send me home on Tuesday, so they kept me an extra day to start meds & to see that the meds worked.

My insurance covers up to 96 hours so I stayed that full amount of time. I went in on Tuesday morning and was discharged four days later on Saturday morning.

I had her 10pm Tuesday night and came home 9 am Friday morning...so a little over 48 hrs. It was Christmas Eve so I'm sure that was a big reason I went home earlier
