Would a white crib for a boy be too girly? My mom and dh seem to think so, but I don't. I think it still wouldn't be for an older child either if I go the convertible route. Thoughts?

We have an inexpensive convertible graco lauren white crib and are planning to use it for ds when he is born. It was Lily's. I think white is ok for little boys before school age. We will probably buy a more sturdy furniture set for him as he gets older to last into his teen years.

also, I'm banking on the fact that teenage boys aren't going to give a crap what kind/color furniture they have, or even if they have any at all. I'll guess it is teenage girls who are going to have issues with something like this.
Re: White convetible crib
We are planning on white for our little boy, and like one of the other posters said, you can make it more masculine with your room decor.
What about painting it when you convert it into a bed?
its all about the rest of the decor. go look on pinterest, I'm sure you'll find LOTS of big boy rooms with white.
