Smallest Nipple Slowest Flow Question

Posted on BF board too Is the level 1 the smallest nipple size? I'm using it for DS but he still drinks way too fast and continues to gulp, gag, spit up. I'm feeding breastmilk only in the bottles. Is there anything that will slow down the flow? I use Dr Browns.

    I'm not sure about the Dr. Browns. LO has only had a few bottles so far, but we had the same issue with all the nipples we tried. We had the most success with the Playtex Ventaire... their newborn nipple is seriously small and it definitely slows LO down.

    That should be the slowest flow. It varies by brand though. Our Medela level ones are WAY faster than the Avent ones, which are comparable to the Born Free ones.

    Dr. Browns has preemie nipples.  I have seen them at BRU.
