  When my mom watched my niece and I was there on bedrest...that's all that kid watched. And Barney who I want to shoot one day. I would rather Barney over Dora. That chick is annoying.

  I was saying something to my mom yesterday, about how I should just go ahead and buy my cousin's baby girl (due next month) a bunch of Dora stuff, since the obsession is darn near impossible to avoid.  She said, "I don't even think Dora will still be around by the time she's old enough to be interested in it."  I remembered saying that exact same thing to a friend of mine when her daughter was 2, and we were talking about any future kids I might have.  Her daughter is 8 now. 

  Yeah, I had to explain to my mom that Dora is the cockroach of Nick Jr., and will outlast us all.

  Chloe loves Dora. It really doesn't bother me, I kind of tune it out.
