Update on my friend and baby Josephine

I just received word that baby Josephine is not going to make it. Blood has filled one side of her brain and there isn't anything they can do for her. Our friends are spending the evening with her and then family will come up tomorrow to get some last snuggles in with Josephine before the ventilator is turned off. I am so sad for my friends.     This makes me so sad.  My heart is breaking for them.  I am glad they are going to be able to spend some time with her.  I would see if the hospital has a Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Photographer who can come in a take pictures.  It is one of my biggest regrets.  When Nessa died we did not have a lot of warning as they worked really hard to try and save her and we were rushing to the hospital from home.  We have some pictures but not nearly enough and they are not very good. 

    I will say extra prayers for them tonight.

    There is a photographer that the hospital uses. They used it when they lost their first baby last November. I am so sad for them. I wish there was something I could do.

    Awful news.  I am so effing sorry for your friend.  Too much to bear.

    I just went back and looked at your original post.  This is heartbreaking.  I mean, I cannot fathom the pain of losing a child under any circumstances but for this to happen twice is absolutely heart wrenching.  I am so sorry.  Keeping them all in my prayers.

    I have been thinking of and praying for this family and sweet baby Josephine since you first posted.  The grief for them must be unbearable.  I hope they find comfort in the coming days, months and years.

    To lose one child is the worst thing I can imagine but to lose two is just unfathomable and endlessly cruel. I am so sorry for this family and I continue to keep them in my prayers. May they find comfort in the love of family and friends.

    I'm so, so sorry for your friend and they will be in my thoughts and prayers. To go through something like that once is unthinkable. To go through it twice--- I just can not imagine. My heart goes out to them.

    This breaks my heart.  I am so, so sorry.  Many prayers are going out to them.
    After 2 years and 6 IUIs, we did it with IVF w/ ICSI!
    BFP with no treatment!
