LO and pets

What do your little ones think about your pets? Do they even care? DS has taken a great deal of interest in our cats lately and I think it's super cute. He jabbered on and on at one of them forever the other day and I really wish I had recorded it. Ever time he sees one of them he lights up and gets the biggest grin. It's probably my imagination but I think they are warming to him because of it. They have not been his biggest fan up until late.

DD just stares at our dog...she just started noticing her. our dog on the other hand doesn't want anything to do with her! She runs off everything we get DD near her!!! Its kinda funny!

They love each other. The dogs don't even mind when he gets a death grip on their ears or tails. Or when he pokes them in the eyes. In in reverse, Jackson laughs like a madman when they sneak in licks to clean the drool off of him. I'm not such a fan of that, but it won't kill him. Once, Rowdy licked him and in retaliation Jackson bit his nose. I don't know who was more shocked, the dog, the baby or me.

LO just found our dog 1 week ago. He thinks it's hilarious when dogs bark. Our dog has just found LO this week too. Lol He saw the cat but the cat isn't interested at all.

They love eachother. Now that C is in the put everything in her mouth stage she tries to gnaw on the dogs anytime they get close. It's pretty funny.

She likes it when they lick her. It makes her smile and she always reach out to touch them when they are close. The other day, one was licking her and I pushed him away because I thought it was too much. She started to get upset so I let him lick recommence his licking and she was happy again. lol

to add. DD had a grip on Chloe's hair (my groucier of the two) and Chloe did not even flinch. She just stood there until I pryed her fingers off.

My DD just started noticed our dogs. Usually she just stares at them but I had her in the bumbo and I was on the floor with her the other day. Our Bulldog Bella came up and sat next to us and Lyra was giggling at her. It was soo cute.

We have two dogs and two cats. My baby LOVES our English Bulldog. She literally cracks up laughing when she looks at him. I've got it on video a couple of times. She doesn't do it for any of the other pets, just the bulldog.

She just started watching/noticing the cats walking by. If they get close enough to her (only one braves it) she'll grab onto fur or a tail but luckily the cat doesn't do much except lie there and wait for me to pry her fingers off. I've been teaching her to open hand "nice pet," a little early for her to truly understand but I figure it's good to start it now so the cats have some times with her being nice to them and don't get aggressive because every interaction they have with her is her painfully pulling something.

Ds watches the dogs as they walk by. My girl dog is in love with my lo and acts like his mama.
