What shoes are you wearing? (CP)

I am mentally having a really hard time going from heels to flats (even though I have changed from really high heels to medium/low heels).  It feels like the last part of my pre-pregnancy self that is slowly coming to an end.

What are you wearing?

  • I've never been one for heels so my vote may not count. It's been converse or flip flops for years.

  • What is SS? I am a flip flop kind of gal so I am still wearing flip flops. I live in TX so we are still getting some nice 70/80 degree weather.

  • The only things that have fit me the last couple months are flip flops or slip-on sneakers.
  • I'm still wearing my flip flops since my feet are getting a little too swollen even for flats. I'm in IA and it's been around 60 lately so not too bad. I'm going to keep wearing my flip flops until the baby comes- unless there's snow on the ground :)

  • My shoe size (and therefore shoes) have not changed since I've been pregnant. I generally just pair my shoes with the length of my pants or the style of clothes I'm wearing, and I'm still doing the same.

  • I wear sketchers tone up flip flops, they fit the best and are most comfortable, and occasionally i can fit into my sneakers, thats it though!
  • The only thing that is fitting my VERY SWOLLEN feet are flip flops and those barely fit =(
  • It may sound strange, but the most comfortable shoes for me are my 2" and 3" wedges. The wedges feel more supportive than flats have during my pregnancy, which is disappointing because I LOVE my flats.

  • I've been the type to wear heels. I just wear them if it's a "special occasion." I've always worn flip-flops until it starts snowing, so for now flip flops all the way!

  • Mostly flip flops and I feel like I'm going to really regret it. I think not having any support for the past 8 months has caused havoc for my feet. Right now my arches hurt and feel like they are falling.  My feet are so swollen too so nothing else fits. I did stuff my feet into sneakers over the weekend and even though they were tight they felt much better and I didn't get nearly as swollen. Just not sure how I can get away with that at work...

  • Not my super cute brown knee high boots that I had planned to wear with my adorable courduroy dress today. Grrrrr. Couldn't even get them on. Looks like it is flip flops and sneakers for me from here on out.

  • I am like PP.  Heels are one of the last things that I can wear and still feel normal so I am rocking my high heels for as long as I can.  DH is not happy about it but oh well he will just have to get over it!

  • Seriously, if Posh Spice can switch to flats, you can too.

  • I'm still wearing heels at work; I wear flats, flip flops or running shoes the rest of the time.  If my feet start swelling or I get concerned about falling, I'll switch to flats.

  • Oh, I was sad to let go of my heels, too. Most people at work had never seen me without them! But I walk a lot at work, and I didn't want to take the chance of falling, so I switched to flats exclusively around 30 weeks. I don't regret it! The ones I wear aren't totally flat; they have some heel support and arch support. I've been really klutzy lately, but at least in the flats I can still get some exercise during the work day (I like to take the stairs a couple times a day).

  • I wear sparkly flip flops and that's it.  I don't care if I'm going to some big meeting, etc my feet get swollen in anything else but flip flops so I'm going to wear what's comfy.

  • I wear whatever matches my outfit for the day. Flats, heels, sneakers, whatever. My feet haven't gotten swollen or anything and they don't hurt at the end of the day either.
