Cloth Diaper Newbie

So I have been looking into cloth diapers, and I really want to go this way, but I am having the most difficult time find out how many I am going to need/prices/exchanges etc. Is there a website I can go to to get this information? Any advice from you ladies would be very helpful.

There is a Cloth Diapering board now, if you want to get into deeper discussion (though most ppl here won't care if you stick around this board) but a resource that really helped me at the beginning (and something to which I still refer) is the Cloth Diapering FAQ at The Eco-Friendly Family Blog.

Yeah...check out the Cloth Diaper Board's FAQ at the top of the page. Jillian's Drawers "new to cloth" was also helpful. And some cost comparisons.

Most people do some sort of fitted or prefold Newborn stash (at least 24) with covers (3-6), and then move on to a one-size pocket diaper stash when the baby grows a bit (15-20). That lasts until potty-training. We still use our newborn prefolds to stuff our pockets
