My dad (who is excellent with LO) watched DS for me today because I had to go in to work early. I come home at lunch to find the two of them on the back deck. DS is naked. His clothes (sopping wet) are laying in a pile as is his diaper.
Apparently he pulled out the bottom corner of the screen on the sliding glass door, slipped out the hole, down the doggie ramp and was sitting playing in the rain water that collected in his kiddie pool overnight!
Way to not be watching, Grandpa!
He claims that something on the news "caught his eye" but I am guessing he dozed off. I don't think all of that could happen during a news story!
I know he feels bad and I don't want to beat him up over it, but I did have to point out all the things that COULD have happened!
Re: Grandpa watching LO - ugh
OYYY I would be annoyed... but that sounds exactly like my parents
I just think their generation just didn't watch the kids like we do and were not as protective... but yeah, a pool.... yikes. Did he say how long it was before he caught on that he was missing? I guess lock the doors next time... idk.. definately a scare.
(read it. you know you want to.)

Wow, that's so crazy! My dad would of got the lecture from hell! On the bright side, your LO probably had a blast not being supervised haha. Atleast nothing bad happened, that's pretty scary.
