washing other baby clothes with CDs?

does anyone do this? I have a 3 week old, with BF poo. We use prefolds/bummies covers during the day and BG xs at night. is it ok to wash some nb clothes with the diapers?

    I do this all the time.  I figure otherwise it'll take me a couple of weeks to build up enough clothes for a full load, and I don't think we actually have that many clothes that fit him right now.  Plus, either the diapers are getting clean, in which case the clothes are too, or they aren't, in which case the wash routine needs tweaking.

    I've been thinking about the same thing with my DS due Dec.  I figured after the first prewash cycle I'd throw in clothes and let it rip.

    I had never thought of this!! I guess there is no reason why not right??? Saves me a load of laundry and time too!!

    It can't hurt anything. My only concern would be clothes shrinking or colors running from the hot wash (I wash all of DS's clothes on cold normally). But I wouldn't hesitate from a sanitation standpoint.
