If you lost your MP/had bloody show does that mean you are probably dilated?

Not necessarily, but I've read in multiple places a bloody show means labor will probably start in the next few days.

Yes, it typically means you are at least a little dilated. Many women get excited, but in all honesty, just because you loose your MP or have bloody show doesn't mean that labor is immenient. Bloody show is MORE likely to mean labor is near; however, I had bloody show Sunday and Monday, and here I am on Thursday still not in labor.

( I saw my OB on Monday for our weekly appointment and he mentioned it could be a week or so, even after bloody show, that women go into labor. Sooo, I'm holding out for a baby by the end of the weekend!

i lost my MP and didnt go into labor for 2 weeks.

I lost my MP and had bloody show Sunday and Monday, I am 1cm dilated. Midwife says he'll come when he's ready. Could be a couple of more weeks

I was 1 cm dilated last Thursday and lost my MP this morning (no bloody show though). I have another appointment this morning so we'll see if there has been any more progress. Hoping labor starts this weekend as I am so done with work!!!
