I saw your post about jury duty. On a blog I read someone posted that he seemed
to be getting called way too frequently and it turned out that he was
getting called so much because his name was on the list multiple times
(like with different spellings (MI vs name) or addresses - I forget
which)). Maybe you should check with whomever is in charge of the jury
selection process (county clerk?) to make sure that your name is not on
the list more than once. It may be worth your time to figure out if something similar
is going on with you.

Meeeee tooooo! When we lived in Fulton County, I got summoned all,the.time. I think at least three or four times--two of them were within months of each other (which someone told me they weren't supposed to do). I think I posted about it here. I went to both of those bc they were before kids. Anyway, we moved last year and don't live in Fulton County anymore, but I actually got summoned AGAIN by Fulton County and was glad to tell them I had moved and do not live in Fulton County anymore. I don't mind to fulfill my civic duty, but come on. Something is up with the system because there are folks I know who have lived here all their lives and have never been called. Crazy. That is interesting about the names, though! I should have compared all my summons paperwork to see if there was a discrepancy with how my name was listed.

Hmmm. That's a good idea to check the list. Although I didn't move to Fulton until after i was married, so the name should be correct. But it's worth a shot.
