Babies: 9 - 12 Months

red cheeks and grinding teeth..

two things:

DS has super red cheeks right now, no fever, no boogers but woke up with these really red cheeks. he does have a slight case of eczema so i am wondering with having the heat on making his cheeks red like that? curious to see if anyone else noticed this.

also, teeth grinding its like nails on a chalkboard for me. DS has the 4 front teeth and has been grinding them. should this be a concern or is he just doing this to make momma's head ache?

TIA!

Re: red cheeks and grinding teeth..

  • Leo spent 2 weeks grinding his teeth, it gave me the hibbie jibbies but then the novelty wore off and he stoped

could the red cheeks be caused by the cool weather?

    or even the teething?

  • I think both are just a result of teething. DD grinds her teeth when she is cutting a new tooth, once it comes in she will stop for while until another one starts coming in. DS's cheeks use to get really red and sort of break out when he would start cutting a tooth.
