F/U to Flu Shot CP

A little while ago I posted a clicky about whether to get the flu shot for LO or not. I just wanted to post an update.

The pedi offered it, but after talking it over, we all agreed that it was not necessary. DD is not in daycare and we don't have any other children at home. H gets a flu shot through work, so her exposure will be minimal.

    One less shot for your peanut! Did you talk about whether you should get it with being pregnant? Or are you thinking same thing with minimal exposure for you too?

    I still don't know what to do. If he gets it, I think we all should get it. Hm. I've never had it, neither has DH.

    I don't know what I'm going to do for myself. They begged me to get it last time and I said no. I just don't go out very much. We have one car, and H takes it to work. I get to go to the grocery once a week. That's it. I guess I'll talk to my OB about it when I have my first appointment.

    Im glad you were not pressured the first time around.  Im sure whatever decision you make will be the right one. I am not getting it for LO either.

    I totally see where you are coming from. I think I'd be the same way if I wasn't exposed to so much crap at work and the kids weren't in daycare. Hope your OB sheds some more light on it for you, but I'm sure you'll be fine either way, for all the reasons you stated.

    This. When I was teaching I was exposed to so much stuff that the flu shot would have been a must..but now that I stay home, and don't go out and do anything..I'm rethinking it..
