Had a growth ultrasound today because I haven't gained weight in well over a month. My OB asked if we were having a boy, and we said no, they (the other OB who did the Anatomy scan) told us it was a girl. She said, "I'm 99% positive you're having a boy". I got a lovely picture of his family jewels. LOL my mind is completely blown since we are so close to finishing the nursery. And I already had one shower and received oodles of girl's clothing. Yikes! We have a lot of work to do!
Baby boy is measuring healthy and on track at 4lbs 10oz!
Re: Just left the doctors... unbelieveable U/S
Oh, I don't want to hear these stories!
With my last pregnancy we were Team Green. With this one we chose to find out and were told we're having a girl. I'm so worried about ending up with a boy! Not that I don't want a boy...but just for the last 20 weeks or so we have been picturing a girl!
We haven't had an ultrasound since the A/S. DH and I decided that if they couldn't determine the sex at the ultrasound, we would get a 3D. Since this doctor was "99.9% sure" it was a girl, we didn't get a 3D. Really regretting that choice. But I'm happy my baby is growing on track and is healthy.
Wow! That's got to be rough to change gears at this point. If I were in your position, I'd probably consider myself team green at this point. This is a fear of mine and I had a BPP a few weeks ago and was so relieved that the baby was healthy I completely forgot to ask the tech to double check.
A healthy baby is the most important thing and I'm glad to hear yours is doing well
congrats on your baby boy! Im so worried about this also. we havent had a u/s since the AS and im just thinking what are we going to do now that we are done with her room and have all these girl things and its a boy

Wow that's crazy!! I was really worried about that with my second daughter because we only had one u/s and never got great pictures so I was concerned we were planning on a girl and she'd be a boy. This time, having a boy, I feel more confident, but I guess you really don't know until the baby is actually out!
Congrats on the healthy boy though!
