Epic Pedi Fail

DD had her 9 month well visit today. She was all grins until we started taking her clothes off. Then she started crying hysterically and flailing around. I picked her up and she emptied her entire bladder on me, the exam table, and the floor. On the scale, she pushed the recalibration buttons so it took 10 mins just to get a correct reading. H and I had to pin down her arms and legs for the exam. Both the nurse and the pedi called her a "drama queen", lol. I dressed her while H held her in the air. Luckily there were no shots this time, but the pedi said next time will be pretty traumatic and to "bring reinforcements". Apparently it's 4 or 5 shots plus a finger prick. Lovely. Can't wait!

What are her measurements? She right on track? Im glad your H was there to help!
Poor sweetie! Once LO sees the pediatrician she starts to wail, lol.

I don't even remember her numbers because I couldn't hear the nurse talking over the cray cray cying baby. I know for a fact that her height measurement was off because she was arching her back and rolling over while we were holding her down.
I do know that she was 80th percentile for head circ and weight and 60th for height (wrong though). Doctor said she's nice and proportionate as she's always been. She's right on track with her milestones too, yay!
And yes, I am thrilled H was there. I don't think we could've done it without him. He's going to be in training around her 1st birthday, but I'm determined to find a way for him to be there.
