    Ok, so they obviously still needed a heart doc...and they could have ended the lesbian plot line if that was the problem....I'm starting to wonder if somebody didn't have a problem with the actress herself?

    Agreed! It's really weird to cut her out of the cast just because they "didn't want to continue the lesbian plot"

    Apparently they went backpacking through Europe before med school and then the intern put off her residency to work in a morgue.

    He said he was there for her. I think it has to do with the baby she gave up. I think they will finally adress it.

    I think it is odd that he kept saying "I came back for you", any other time a dead person says such things it foreshadows a death.

    All I know is that I sobbed like a baby through most of his scenes... and afterward i wanted to watch PS I Love You (which, by the way, was a HUGE mistake)....
