CP: Yay or Nay

My 13 year old step son has his last football game this weekend. Its a 3 hour drive, and it says the high temp for the day is 49. So if the game is at 6pm, its bound to be cooler than that.

Would you take your LO?

EDIT: I only point out that it is a 3 hour drive, because I can't exactly go for an hour and then go home- if I'm riding with others.

    Have lots of extras for warmth, but I would try to go to the game.

    If it were just H and I, I'd go, but not with DD. Wayyy too cold to be sitting outside for hours trying to keep DD entertained and warm.

    Not only all of that, but I wouldn't drive with the kids anywhere 3 hours unless I was staying for the night or something. It's just a lot. Next year Whitney will be much easier to travel with and going to games like that won't be such a big deal, so I say wait til next year.
