But I need someone to talk me down. Lily-Ann's hb has always been 150 and above. Lately, its closer to 140. I have tried a couple different times of the day. Is it normal for hb's to decrease? I would never even know this if it wasn't for that stupid doppler! My husband was right! Errr!!!

The HB will get slower as the pregnancy continues. Don't worry!

I was just at my OB yesterday. She told me anything between 120-160 is totally normal. My little on was at 145. She said it starts fast and starts to come down later in pregnancy.

I decided against the doppler for that reason. I would freak myself out all the time ;-)

My doc says that the heartbeat will decrease as the baby starts to grow and get bigger. Somewhere between 110 and 160 is considered normal.

At my last OB appt Dr. told me h/b was 120 (she was using one of the regular dopplers that you can get off ebay)...I thought that was strange since my home doppler always reads higher. So yesterday at my anatomy scan, it read at 145 (that was using the computer to count it). LOL. I think it can depend on who is counting it, how its being counted, etc.

As long its not below 120 I dont think you have much to worry about at all.
