We were using California Baby, but it is horribly expensive for such a small tube. Does anyone know of a cheaper (but effective) diaper rash cream that won't stain or leave residue on CDs?
We've resorted to using disposables & Desitin maximum strength when DS gets a really bad rash. That stuff works like a dream & clears it up in 1-2 days. Too bad there's not a CD version!
Re: CD safe diaper cream?
I like Grandma El's, CJ's BUTTer and Aveeno.
You can still use Desitin with your cloth, just use a liner. You can buy disposable ones, or just cut out a chunk of old fleece pants/receiving blanket/cloth wipe etc. and lay that in the diaper to create a barrier.
We use CJs too and I love it.

Another vote for CJ's BUTTer - a little goes a long way.

I'm going to pick up a stick of CJ's! Thanks for all the good advice!
we use california baby as well, but save it for the bad rashes that need the zinc oxide.
