tracy anderson

I'm curious if anyone has tried her dvds or her book with the diet plan and workout. I recently started doing the post baby workout dvd and I like it after doing it three times so far, but I need to do cardio too and I've heard varying things about her cardio dvds.

Has anyone tried her stuff? Good/poor results?

  • I like her toning DVDs but the dance DVD is just okay.  Nothing really "wrong" with it, I have just seen better dance DVDs.

  • I like the dance DVD, but you really have to take the time to learn each of the 8 routines. She breaks down each of the routines in the first half of the DVD, but once you get to the cardio portion where she does each continuously, she doesn't cue (or really talk) at all.

I focused on learning two routines at a time until I felt like I knew them just enough to do the full cardio section. I made a lot of mistakes at first, but it's fun. And I don't have a dance background or anything.

If you want something with more cueing, I also really like Turbo Jam. It's kickboxing, but with a lot of dancing thrown in.
