I swear I have tried every places possible that has maternity clothes. I am only 5'0" with short legs so it is hard for me to find jeans that fit length wise to begin with. I have a pair right now that are from Target and I am noticing that the bigger I get the more uncomfortable they become. I seem were the belly panel meets the jeans cuts into my stomach and it hurts like crazy. I have tried bigger sizes and the same thing happens. I have found that I like the under the belly panel and it sits more comfortably. But I can't find any in short/petite anywhere. I am to the point where I am going to buy a regular pair of jeans and use the belly band that I got from a friend.
Anyone have suggestion as to where I can get petite maternity jeans for less than 25 - 30 dollars since finance and I are on a very tight budget.
Re: Exhausted from looking for maternity jeans.
Also, have you tried consignment? I got a pair of ann taylor loft capri skinnies for $10, but they are long enough on me to be actual skinny pants. If you're on budget - I'd suggest trying a thrift/maternity consignment store, and just have the pants tailored to your height if needed.

I bought 2 pairs of Old Navy jeans with that low waistband/panel and I just LOVE them. I am tall (5'9) but I also always have issues finding the right length jeans. Especially if I want to get fancy and have something that will work with flats and heels at the same time.
So I got a pair of these which don't come in long and they are AWESOME for flats/sports shoes.
And these which come in Lond which are fabulous for heels.
I would recommend the 2nd ones for you. Get them in short and if still too long, just get them hemmed. That typically costs $5-10 if you go to a little neighborhood alterations shop. Totally worth it in my book.
Anywho, both these are soooo comfy! Oh, just do not go up in size. I am typically a size 2 in their jeans, 1 in khakis, and after reading reviews I decided to go with a size 1 jeans and they were perfect.
Good luck!
