apple pie recipe? or just the pie crust recipe.

We went apple picking this weekend.  We have 40 apples in the house and now i want to make an apple pie for the first time.

Anyone know of any good pie crusts that are milk/soy/egg free? 

i found some on line but wanted to see if anyone else has some good ones they have used. 

Also, if you happen to have a good apple pie recipe also, that would be fantastic!  ;)

    My mom's recipe for pie crust is:

    1C flour

    4 TBS butter flavor crisco

    pinch of salt

     water to correct consistency (about 1/4C)

     Mix with pastry mixer or your hands.

    honestly- if you haven't made it before- I'd check a pre-made kind (TJ's has one in the freezer section).  I love to bake and I suck at pie crusts.  I'm going to have to try it again now that we're GF and i'm dreading it.

    thanks ladies!

    I might try to make my own since the recipe it does look fairly easy but i am so excited to know that TJs has one without milk/soy in it! since most likely i will get lazy and just use the already made one.

    I need to spend some time at TJ's b/c it's beginning to surprise me more and more. 

    So excited to have apple pie.. maybe my son will actually finally eat some apples.

    Pillsbury crusts are dairy and egg free, but I'm not sure about soy.  I use the recipe on the box though for pie and it's good!  I hope you find one pre-made because it will be a lot easier for you!
