I hate my mail lady. And I think she keeps my mail for a couple days and then give it to us all at once. She also give us the wrong mail all the time, so I can only assume she gives people our mail.

The point to this pointless vent is that I am waiting on my new license. It should have been her today. We are suppose to be going out this weekend for my birthday and I just hope I have it before then. But with this mail lady who knows.

    At least if it doesnt come today, you have a couple more days before the weekend. I hate waiting for stuff too. It either takes two weeks, or like my PP- she got it the next day I mailed it. wtf.

    This may be a stupid question, but why is it being mailed?  Do you not go pick it up at the DMV?

    You can do them online here in Michigan, if your registration comes with a pin number. Mine are due in a few weeks here, and they sent me a pin, thank goodness. So I dont have to actually go in either.

    EDIT: My post makes no sense. I am talking about registration.

    For the drivers license in MI, when you get a new picture, they mail you the new license in like 7-10 days or whatever. And I THINK the under 21 licenses are different. Major brain fart.

    Interesting.  That would be kind of convenient.  Do you still get to see the picture right away, or do you have to wait?  That would kind of suck for your 21st though.  I remember being so excited to go to the DMV to get my new license and go out!

    I'm pretty sure our mail man does this too. Because he's a good judge of what can wait a few more days, right? Also we don't get our mail til after 5:30pm most days of the week.

    Yes, you get to see the picture right away! I went in and renewed my license at least 2 weeks ago that way it would be here on my birthday. But it is a not show :(

    My paper one says that my new one will be here on or after my birthday. Our mail came at 10am so I was able to check early. Do you think they will take my paper licenece and my old licence and let me have a drink? I dont really care but my family seems to think I have to have at least one.
