will you be moving it to #2's crib or will you leave it with #1 and get a new monitor? I know they are expensive but technically I could still use mine when we turn DS' crib into a toddler bed...any experience?
We stopped using it with DS when he started rolling all around the crib (7-8 months ish?) and would set the alarm off all night long. When DD was born, we used it for her, and DS had a video monitor in his room.
We are going to have them room together, so we will use the sensor pad with the new baby, but obviously still be able to hear both with the one monitor.

We stopped using it for DD before she even turned one. After the risk of SIDS was reduced drastically and she was rolling all over the place, we felt comfortable taking it out. So it is in DS's bed now since he is only 2.5 weeks.

I'm torn because we still use it with DS#1 @ 16 months. For those of you that switched and have LOs in different rooms, does #1 just not have any type of monitor?
We used it with DD until 11.5 months then she started moving too much and setting it off. DS uses it now. We bought DD a cheap Safety 1st monitor that was around $25. I really just need to hear her now so it didn't matter the monitor we got with her.
SAHM to the sweetest little girl and boy... I love my job!

Good luck!
