Spotting and forcing the dr. to give me another u/s tonight

Hello everyone

I had an appt last week confirmed I was in fact pregnant!  I want to get excited so bad but because of my 2 previous m/c it seems hard to.  When I had gone to the dr. last week and they did an u/s and saw a sac and a small fetal pole.  I could not hear the heartbeat but the dr. was able to see a flicker of a heartbeat in there.  Because of the 2 m/c I go back today for some follow up blood work, to make sure my numbers/levels are going the way they should.  I started spotting last week after my u/s but I believed it was because the transvaginal u/s, but then I started spotting here and there since last week.  Nothing red, very light brown, very little bit, but I still worry (for obivious reasons).  I think I am going to force the dr. to give me another u/s tonight just to make sure all is well..

Any advice as to what it might be or has anyone else experienced this?

    I am sorry you are going through this, I hope your Dr. gives you the ultrasound so that you can have some ease on your mind.

    I was spotting this morning and just had an ultrasound and everything was perfect.

    I spotted brown for a few days then it stopped and started again a few days later. Had an u/s everything looked good, baby measured correct and h/b. They saw some implantation blood still left over so, I am guess that is why I spotted before the u/s and then after. I am going for another u/s next week to make sure everything is doing ok.

    most doctors will tell you that some spotting is ok as long as it is brown.  it is especially around the time you WOULD have gotten your period, or after an internal exam. i would think that another blood draw and a listen to heartbeat speed would give you the best indication of how things are going.

    I started the "brown" spotting at 7w2d and had an u/s and bloodwork at 7w3d. It has been on and off since then. The u/s showed a baby with a good hb of 150bpm. Since then I had my first appt at 9w4d and again, baby w/a good hb. We have no idea why I still have the brown spotting but it comes and goes and I just have to tell myself that it is all ok. I have my NT scan on 11/2 and I am holding onto my symptoms that do not seem to be lessoning. It's all I have...and those 2 u/s. Hope you can get yourself another u/s to ease your mind.
